I had the pleasure of trying P. Terry's Burgers while visiting Austin, based on a friend's recommendation. I ordered a regular burger with mayo and all the fixings, and it truly delivered that fresh, backyard cookout taste. The portion size was perfect, although the fries were a bit crispier than I prefer. Nonetheless, the fantastic burger and affordable prices earn P. Terry's a solid five stars.

Chicken Bites looked great but were very rubbery! Big waste of food unfortunately. Crispy Chicken Burger with Cheese was much better. Bigger than expected.

The Chicken Bites were super good. Cheeseburger taste better with the grilled onions but I've never been a huge fan, I go for the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie and they have the best chocolate shakes. however, the Peppermint Chocolate Shake wasssss terrible. I could only taste mint so strongly. No Chocolate. It was like I was drinking a bottle of mints.

For some reason I wasn't thinking I'd get 2 chicken patties on 1 sandwich when I ordered an extra crispy, just figured the 1 would be toasted extra crispy (small town thinking I guess)...not mad about it, just wish I'd known so I could've ordered a shake instead. First time ordering from PTerry's myself and I'm new to town. A++ food tho!
