The chicken pho was very good and all the ingredients were fresh (I added ginger, celery and carrots). The portion was very generous with lots of chicken, noodles and broth. I would definitely dine here again.
The dumplings with black vinegar sauce were also very good.

The pho was very poor for the price, and the veggie pho basically only had carrots and onions—so many carrots and onions! There was also way too much ginger in it. I ordered extra tofu and literally only got six cubes. The broth was very average. The chicken pho was empty too, with very few ingredients. The spring rolls were okay, but the shrimp still had the shells on the tail.

The Pho Rare Beef Loin NY was amazing! This is the second time I have ordered and it's been great both times. The set up for delivery is perfect, especially if you aren't at home. They give you a bowl to mix and will add flatware, napkins, chopsticks, hoisin and sriracha. My only comments are 1. Too many onions for my taste 2. Medium spice is much spicer than I planned.

I usually leave great reviews for Pho MDR because it's so good and the customer service is awesome but my order this time around was lacking in so many areas and the staff was very cold and not helpful at all. I received my order with very little meat and fewer pho noodles. This is very disappointing, hopefully I receive the correct proportions next time.

This place has alwys been a fave since we lived in Venice and now worth the extra to have it delivered to Sawtelle. Even tho theres tonsof Japanese options out here, nothing beats vietnamese fried rice and pho, and they do a great job here (and usually one order lasts us two meals)
