Everything was Hot and delicious!!!!!!! Not overly expensive and massive portions!!! The Parcha - Passion Fruit Juice was very refreshing! The Fuego Boricua (1/2oz) hot sauce was very good! A nice homemade hot sauce that packs a punch! 1 lb. Carne Frita - Fried Pork Chunks was good! It's a cross between chicharrones and bacon. I would say it was more than a pound. Lechón Asado - Succulent Roast Pork dinner was good too! My only complaint is that it was a little dry. Good but a bit dry. My dinner came with arroz con gandules, a salad! The arroz con gandules was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of olives. The Maduros - Sweet Fried Plantains were good. I did have a couple pieces that weren't ripe. However the ones that were were very delicious. I also had a Pastelillo - Savory Beef-Filled Turnover was full of meat and not overly greasy. The creamy garlic sauce was delicious too! The best!!

Honestly with how expensive food is in this city, these prices are robbery! You get MUCH more than you pay and it was sooo good. Everything's salty(in a good way) and they don't skimp on filling in the Relleno de Papa - Beef-Stuffed Potato Ball andAlcapurria - Pork-Stuffed Guineo Fritter. I've gotten 2 servings from one plate of Bistec Encebollado - Onion-Topped Steak I'm really happy with my purchase here 😫

Ordered Jibarito with arroz con gandules. Totally lacked flavor - bland. Also realized that Ponce has a ghost kitchen in River West that delivers via DoorDash, so my order was delivered from there and not the restaurant. I'll have to look closer at where the food is coming from. Definitely not as good as the original Ponce Restaurant.

This is the second time ordering the Bistec Encebollado - Onion-Garnished Steak but this time it was super disappointing. The past times, the beef has clearly been cooked with the onions. This time, its flavor-less strips of beef under delicious onions. The last order was so amazing, I'll probably give this place another try but if this is the new norm, I'll just stick to the Arroz con Gandules - Rice with Pigeon Peas from now on. Now THAT one is fire!
