I tried their signature shio ramen. The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly staff. The ramen was beautifully presented, with a generous portion of chashu, a soft-boiled egg, buttered corn, bean sprouts, fried onions and fresh bamboo shoots. The shio-based broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced with the al dente noodles. The toppings were fresh and added great texture. Overall, it was a delightful meal, and I highly recommend Ramen Akira to anyone looking for authentic Japanese ramen. A++

The garlic chicken ramen we ordered came without any chicken... This then is vegetable ramen that we paid chicken ramen price for. The noodles on both ramen has a weird smell to it.. I dont know what it is, maybe it's the flour thats used but I haven't smelled that smell in ramen noodles at other restaurants.

The curry was so delicious and the perfect consistency. The tonkatsu was crispy and light. Gyozas were awesome too. I really enjoyed this meal and it hit the spot on a cold day!
