White person here- Rice with Fried Pork Chop was okay. Pork chop was a small one, but juicy and seasoned. Arroz con gandules was different.Nothing special. Thought it would've been true Dominican flavored food like my exs and friends parents used to make - it just tasted like a white person seasoned it with basics. Empanadas was ehhh, beef was juicy but tasted off - flavor:stale, and the chicken was dry . Sweet Plantains were hard and not sweet at all. The Bola De Yuca Rellena with cheese was sweeter than the maduro. It was good though. And the other thing, the Quipes, was a no. The cheese was hard inside, and it was so salty and hard on the outside, almost chipped a tooth. Overall, 4stars, I ate it, but would probably try something closer to home.

i've been sick for 3 day and have ordered the Chicken Soup and Beef Tripe Soup every morning. i believe it is the reason im getting better. The Croissant with Nutella is also delicious. Its a great mix of crunchy and creamy
