Biggest boneless wings. added wet on the wings and it was drenched n sauce just like i wanted.

I remember now why I quit ordering DD. The food is never good and it's not DD's fault. The hush puppies were burnt, the ribs were burnt, the pulled pork equated to barely a tablespoon and mostly hard, inedible pieces and while the tenders were big and still warm they were well done and heavily breaded. They couldn't be bothered to fill the tiny bowl with potato salad and I didnt even open the green beans at that point. We ate (1) tender, my dogs choked down a hp and a pinch or two of the pork. I managed to get maybe one bite from 1 center rib of 4. When you spend this kind of money you should at least get your moneys worth and food that is edible. I used to go to the one in Indian Land a long time ago and it was always awesome but this one is horrible dine in and out. I have given too many chances telling myself it was just a fluke but clearly this location is no good. I hate to leave a bad review but I am not going to sit here with nearly $50 worth of food for a SHACK SAMPLER PLATE and a HUSHPUPPIES which in itself is ridiculous and it also not be edible. I am so very disappointed.

Portion size is ok. Food had absolutely no flavor. Being that these are supposedly smoked, I'm genuinely surprised that I couldn't even taste salt on the pulled pork. All you tasted on ribs was sauce.

This was the biggest waste of money and I can see Shanes no longer takes pride in craftsmanship but only counting their coin. When you pay $30+ dollars for BIG DAD® SANDWICH meal and get nothing like you ordered it...based off of their choices and they still cant get it right...yeah I'm so done. Ive eaten at Shanes in Indianland when I lived down there for years and even took friends there to eat and never had a problem. Im assuming it's because they had adults running it. The last time I was in this Gastonia location there were only children running it.
So....my BIG DAD® SANDWICH had no slaw, my FRENCH FRIES were so soggy it's like they were old and cooked in water The FRIED OKRA with the choice of getting it xtra crispy was a joke. The stuff was barely even cooked to begin with and was not edible because the inside was a slimy mess. So I ate a $30 bbq sandwich with NO SLAW and NO EDIBLE SIDES! And also no options to up the count on your sauce in case you wanted more. Overall it was awful and I will never waste hard earned money on this place again. If I had not just had knee replacement surgery this morning I wouldnt have ordered to begin with.
SAVE YOUR MONEY and order elsewhere!

Ordered the food wet and it came dry without any sauce, salad was missing from one of the orders and the ribs were chared and burntz basically inedible.
Wings were good and so was the burger and potatoe salad but won't be back.
For $100+ dollars worth of food I'd expect better.
