I'm visiting my sister and her family from St. Louis , Missouri and I did a search for "Thai near me" and Siam Umami popped up and had rave reviews. We headed over there and all six of us were absolutely delighted with our dinner.
This place serves gourmet Thai like you've never experienced before. The menu is small and we tried almost every dish listed. We odered 5 entrees and four appetizers. There wasn't a smudge left on our plates after we finished eating!
Dessert was deliciously different and very satisfying. I highly recommend giving Siam Umami a try , you won't be disappointed!

The spicy green sauce with the pork belly compliments the richness of the dish perfectly. The chor muang is visually stunning and the flavor/texture range is phenomenal. Absolutely some of the best Thai in Portland.

you'd have to order several items just to have enough protein/calories & i'm a small person. Cod in the orchard is tasty but the serving is TINY. they could at least add more veggies, 3-4 stalks of asparagus alone is pathetic. i'm always starving after i order from here, that's the last time.

I'm very picky when comes to food don't leave too many reviews. I can honestly say the Khao Mok Gai was hands down soo good the sweet and spicy both balance the dish and flavor of the food was everything!! I most definitely will order again in the future this dish is A+ had me singing lol 😆
