This coveted slice joint from 13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani does something very unique: it offers six different styles of crusts for every pie.
13” and 20” round coal-fired pizzas follo…
For vegans, I can't overstate how nice it is that they offer "light on the cheese". While some vegan cheeses are good, they are almost always too "oily" and so less is best. The Medium 12" Veggie with vegan cheese and pepperoni is the best my partner and I have found in the entire city.

The large size pizza usually gets 5 stars (one of the best in SF)! Unfortunately this time i got the 13" Pepperoni Pizza and the proportions were a disapointment. The crust was too thick and chewy and the cheese was too heavy. Next time i'll try the 20" again. Hard pass on the 13"

What happened?!
SliceHouse was my go to NY pizzeria after Arinell's sadly closed. Nice, thin crust. Lotsa of sauce, and not the west coast overdose of cheese.
It's been a minute since I had a pie delivered and tonight's was a huge disappointment. Doughy crust. Way, way too much cheese. Hardly any sauce -- like watercolor painted. I don't believe for a second that they're running their ovens anywhere near 700F. No joke, it was like I bought a Boboli crust at Safeway. How is this NY style pizza? Just terrible. I can't believe I paid $30 for a 12" pie like this.
The House Craft Salad was all but completely baby lettuces. While a decent amount of peppers, it had maybe 5 or 6 walnuts, about the same count for the microscopic lumps of gorgonzola. It came with ample dressing, but the balsamic was thicker than hair gel and just as tasteless. The olive oil had stronger flavor.ol
The cannoli shell was nice, but the inside not filled and was RUNNY and very sweet, like candy. It wasn't warm or anything, just goopy. I'm not even sure that was ricotta. What the heck is going on with this restaurant? I give up.
It's hard enough to find true NY style pizza delivery in San Francisco, or on the west coast in general. Why you gotta do us like this, Tony? You give me no reason to come back.

The pizza here is as good as described and cooked perfectly. The crust arrived crispy and not all soggy in the middle. The portion for the large was surprising! Try to request some pepper flakes. Their meatball sub was also good.

Ordered a 12" pie and a small house Small House Salad. First of all, the salad was delicious. Fresh greens, house made croutons, and some ingredient that gave it a touch of sweetness. The "12" Pepperoni was perfection. The right amount of sauce, which had great flavor and enough cheese to satisfy my needs. Highly recommended and will definitely be ordering again next time I'm in town.
