Excellent, excellent, excellent. We ordered several different pastries and each was as good as the next. Some of the fillings sounded odd (eloté?), but they balanced the ingredients so well that it all worked! The lamination on the croissants was meticulous and the fillings inside were perfectly distributed. The Salted Malted Chocolate - Gelato Pint was a bit too salty for me, but everyone else loved it. Really great find!

The Sugar Cookie Cruffin was really pretty perfectly made. You can tell from just looking at it how very flaky that pastry is. No spongy soft pastry here. When I cut it in half to get a shot of the cross-section, it made a horrible mess of shards, as it should. The flavor was good, clearly heavy in the butter, as it should be. A rich, well made, laminated pastry, in a perfect oversized muffin form. Eating this croissant dough made me instantly grumpy at basically every other croissant/danish/etc I've encountered in the past year or so. They just don't compare to well made fresh pastry like this.
And then, the filling! This was sugar cookie vanilla crème pâtissière, which I can't say necessarily screamed out "sugar cookie" to me, but the vanilla came through very strongly, and it was perhaps a touch sweeter than I'd expect from just a regular crème pâtissière. Very thick, very rich, pretty classic vanilla pastry cream. Textbook, no qualms with the execution, although I did find the generous filling to be a bit much by the end, just so much richness!

I cannot express how much I loved the Strawberry Mango Jam & Matcha Doughnut. Holy crap so good. Perfectly cooked donut, and the jam ends up pooling at the bottom of the cup and it's just delicious. Sweet but not over powering. The Honey Roasted Cornflake, Macadamia & White Choc Honey Roasted Cornflake, Macadamia & White Choc Cookie was also phenomenal. Wasnt sure about it as it looked a litte hard but the flavor was delicious and nuanced. Comes at you slowly then all at once. White Sesame, Honeycomb & Sweet Soy - Gelato Pint very very good but not as insanely delicious as the other two .

Supermoon has cemented itself as my favorite treat in all of NYC. Their food is inventive and complex while constantly changing - it's always executed to the highest degree.
I've also recently fallen in love with their soft serve and gelato. The croissant butter soft serve is an all time favorite and trying new gelato every week gives me something to look forward to.
Lastly, when visiting in person the service is excellent and welcoming. If there are ever any issues they more than make up for it.
The best in the city by far.

Cherry Almond Pie Danish is beyond my expectations! Great combination! Great work with cherries, very juicy. Please do more sweets with them!
