Holy hell, the birria was so good I literally turned around and got a second order immediately after finishing the first one. I never do this. This place does not just have the best Mexican food in Springfield, it has the best food in Springfield. Breakfast burrito here is great as well, suspect everything on the menu is.

Chips and Salsa were great, perfect heat level. However, it looks like they gave me half an order of Arroz Con Pollo--there's not much here for the price-and the queso was just covering the inside of the bag

This is my first time ordering from Tacos El Champu. I am from Cali and have lived here 6 years. I had given up hope of finding a restaurant that tastes like home. My order of Potato Tacos reminded me of being home cooking with mom. The Birria/Shredded Beef Chimichamga was equally as tasty and amazing. Perfectly seasoned and their Salsa Verde is spicy and refreshing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great Mexican food!

Delicious.Try the Torta Perrona. Salsa is so fresh and tasty. Birria Tacos (4) were the perfect size and so yummy. 10/10 will order again.

Cheese enchiladas had almost no cheese. Just rolled up tortillas. Steak in fajitas was 4 little strips and a lot of onion and pepper. Requested corn tortillas only. Got flour tortillas. First and last time for this one.
