• DoorDash orderI had the Fresh Berry Brunch and the Cheesy Breakfast Bowl. Overall presentation was so pretty the food stayed in good condition. They had the wet toppings on the side which I love. It's frustrating when other places mke the food soggy. The french toast takes like a snickerdoodle. Can't take a picture of the cheesy bowl it didnt last 5 seconds. So good.

• DoorDash orderThe Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap was very good. The soup was better than average however there were just a few small scraps of short rib. $10 for that tiny cup was not worth it. Also no utensils provided, so I had to figure out how to eat the soup with a fork i found.

• DoorDash orderI've lived in Wilkes Barre for 5 years. When I moved into my apartment, the French Dip Sandwich from Canning House was my first meal. Even though the prices have gone up a lot, the food quality is still stellar. If you can, treat yourself! I got the Ham and Brie Grilled Cheese this time and it took everything in me not to absolutely house it. The bread is a little soggy- but the combo of apples, ham (real ham, not deli ham), and Brie is heavenly. Definitely added to the rotation. Of course, you can't forget a Sweet Little Treat. I picked a classic choco chip cookie. I like my cookies soft and this one is a winner!
I'm a bit disappointed because my dasher didn't deliver my tea. No rating for that.

• DoorDash orderWe doordashed to our hotel and are blown away by the quality of this delicious food! Cali Chick Ciabatta and Catsmo Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast were stacked, fresh and delicious! Cauli Wings are seasoned well, tender and yummy on their own, but we appreciated the dipping sauces to try. Roasted Cauliflower Soup and Chicken Vegetable soups tasted homemade and were hot and super good! I haven't room to try my Chocolate Coconut Joy Cupcake yet, but I'm sure it's not going to disappoint! We ordered Raspberry Iced Tea but got regular sweet teas, so we figured they ran out.
So glad we tried this place and wish it was closer to home, as we'd order weekly!!

• DoorDash orderThe mocha latte was to die for, just like last time I ordered one from The Canning House. It's a bit rich and very chocolatey, with the perfect ratio of foam if you ask me. It doesn't give me a lot of alertness or energy, but it's so delicious it doesn't matter, it's my favorite mocha latte I've tried in the area.
I personally did not like the grilled cheese and tomato soup, but that doesn't mean you won't - it wasn't bad. Just not to my liking. The sandwich didn't travel all the way to my house well, it was a bit soggy, could've been the butter too. I dipped it the soup, I ate it all but just wasn't impressed with the flavors and textures.
The restaurant is great though, the food was fresh with good quality ingredients and was prepared promptly and with care. It's worth a try!
