LA has some great sandwich-makers, (Lorenzo, Open Market, Matu, Langers) but nothing come close the quality of ingredients, originality, preparation and perfection of what's happening at the Pie Room. The Duck Confit is the best sandwich in LA hands-down. The Grinder and Beef-Mushroom are a close 2nd and 3rd. I'm aiming for the Chicken-Leef next. All their baked goods are insane as well.

Chicken & Leek sandwich was undergwleming. Muted flavor and very little chicken, but the bread was good.
Anzac cookie was great!
