• DoorDash orderTropicana reminds me of home. Yes, I am a Miami boy. As a teenager at Miami Jackson High School, I would take $5-$10 for lunch. I would order a small portion of what we know as the TROPICANA BOWL. I would eat this before, football , basketball, and track practices, games, or events. I come from very low means , so the $5-$10 dollars was my only meals of sustance for the day. The TROPICANA BOWL helped me achieve great heights in Miami's competitive sports environment. Furthermore, I was able to sleep without hunger. Tropicana means more to me than just a place to eat. This is my soul food. Every entree , pastries, baked goods, and hot beverage welcomes this Miami Boy home. -Jewelz DALE!!!!

• DoorDash orderNot the same as when I was young. The Yuca Con Mojo sauce is completely watered down with orange juice. Mojo sauce is normally thick garlic with lemon, no orange. The congri was dry and the "plantains" weren't actually plantains, but small bananas. It's not correct and doesn't taste authentic. The Cuban Sandwich is small. This place must not be owned by Cubans anymore, because that is not a good representation of Cuban food.

• DoorDash orderRabo Encendido is our favorite! Full of flavor and rich sauce. It comes with rice, beans, and platanitos fritos. Portion is big enough for leftovers the next day.

• DoorDash reviewBest Cuban food around, when I say around I mean La County and surrounding counties. It's like your abuela is cooking in that kitchen. Forget about waiting a little longer for your food, it will be worth your time. The guayaba and cheese pastelitos are filled to the edges and the papas rellenas, more relleno than papa! Try their rabo encendido, it's one of the most popular dishes, I've seen people eat it at 9am.
I live walking distance from this place and have my cafe there daily, the most amazing cortaditos, ask for a double with a splash of leche condensada! Olvida la dieta and come get some authentic Cuban food!

• DoorDash orderI liked how the Individual fruit Tart had alot of custard bec that's my favorite part of fruit tarts. The Ropa Vieja was very flavorful. The Papa Rellena (3 Count) was okay, they are quite large. I would order from here again. :-)
