The distinctiveness and depiction of ramen make it an authentic Japanese dish. Every village, every family, has their own Ramen recipe. My hometown, Yokohama, has its own, with a lot of history and cu…
The R4. Teriyaki Chicken Bowl is one of my go-to's. The price is good, it's always fresh and tastes amazing. The taro milk tea is also fire. (I love the new cups theyre using too. So cute!) We've been ordering from Yokohama for years, and plan to continue doing so.

Everything was exactly how i asked for! from getting two sauces each on my A13. Shrimp Lover's to getting the whipped cream and chocolate sauce on the side of my D11. Cream Brûlée Cheesecake! I love that they have boxes for customizations like these!! Food is really good as well!! If you get the R5. Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, get it with Garlic Butter seasoned rice instead, worth the extra 2$ in my opinion!

R8. Spicy Pork Bowl was not spicy -if anything, it was terribly salty. T4. Kimchi small serving - I was disappointed to receive so little but then realized it was a blessing. The kimchi is...sweet? Not terrible but definitely not a fan. Dragonfuit Lychee Oolong Tea this I really like. Will order without boba next time.

I was really excited to try this restaurant. It was something I hadn't tried before and the photography made the food look good, fresh and simple. The photos didn't lie in that the food is very simple. As in, the FLAVORS are VERY simple and mild. I ordered the R9. Tonkatsu Bowl which said it was a chicken cutlet. But I also ordered the T22. Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet). And both were dry and extremely bland. I honestly couldn't tell them apart. Their steamed rice was slightly over cooked and mushy. The spicy cabbage of the R9. Tonkatsu Bowlwas overcooked and not flavored well. The A18. Chicken Crispers have a strange reddish tint to the meat which I thought at first was just an indication that it was well (almost over) cooked. But after tasting a few pieces, I'm beginning to think maybe it is actually their 'marinade' which has a subtle sweetness to it, but not ina good way. As for the serving of T7. Chashu... the portion is VERY small, but it's moist and beautifully cooked if not just a bit under seasoned. I think it might have been the most impressive thing I ordered. I plan to add it to a bowl of ramen which should compliment it well. Over all, I guess I'm really disappointed. I expected better, bolder flavors. Or maybe I just expected flavor in general.

Yokohama will always be my favorite local spot!! The food is always so fresh and well-made. I love everything I've had so far and can't wait to try more! The quality of the milk tea and boba are amazing too.
