• DoorDash orderThis place should be called Zankou Falafel. Period. Zankou has a legendary ireputation in Los Angeles for it's chicken (or for it's family in-fighting, look it up), but I find their chicken to be too petite and often overcooked. Their REAL talent is in their sauces and their otherworldly Falafel. Generously sized, SUPER crispy on the outside, fluffy and SO WELL SEASONED on the inside. Never EVER greasy or oily. The contrast in texture is what the human brain craves. Trust me. And their prices a better than most falafel plates, which pale in comparison. Don't let the chicken fool you, folks!
