All of the food was hot. The samosas were crispy, the rice was delicious, the goat vindaloo had the perfect spice, and it was amazing. I was hesitant to order the Mango Lassi for fear I would not like it. I am so glad I did. I poured it over ice, and it was even better! Great job, Ahmed Indian Restaurant!

Butter chicken was gross. There was absolutely no cream in it, so it tasted like sour spaghetti sauce and a few pieces of chicken. Garlic naan was completely burnt on the bottom. The lamb biryani had exactly 4 pieces of lamb. Would hardly call that a 'lamb' biryani. Was closer to 'essence of lamb' biryani. The onion pakoras were alright.

I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala for the first time. I should have gotten a bit spicier, as I went for the mild heat because I've never had the dish before. Will go full blown spicy next time. I do enjoy the Butter Chicken over the Chicken Tikka Masala, but only slightly, only because the Tikka Masala is, for lack of a better word to describe it, a bit tangy, whereas the butter chicken isn't tangy. I enjoy both and would order the Tikka Masala again, but the butter chicken is my favorite from here. Still can't wait to try the chicken curry. The Naan is always a good choice to dip in the sauce, and the basmati rice is always on point. 5/5 will order again.

Finally had my first bad experience from this store. I ordered Butter Chicken, Hot and it was sweet with no spice and arrived lukewarm in a thick paste consistency. Aloo Pakora are not what I expected but those aren't affecting my review. Naan is always good. Unfortunately this has turned me off from this restaurant for awhile. Time to go to my other go to.
