"Alza": to raise or uplift is a fitting name for a restaurant that lifts spirits through its delicious dishes and warm and inviting hospitality. Family-owned and operated Alza Italian Kitchen is a mod…
I'm giving only four stars because of the buratta salad. Don't get me wrong-it was absolutely delicious. It was just super skimpy, with barely any arugula or prosciutto. The photo shows a nice big salad with 4 piles of prosciutto , but mine only had 3. But honestly, everythingwe ate was delicious and well prepared, but if you're goingto pay that much for a salad it shouldn't be so lacking and should look like the pic.

Okay...so I literally discovered this place 3 weeks ago and I live very close!!! If you have not been to this place...run don't walk. I went here with my god daughter for wine night....AMAZING....I went back the following weekend with my husband...we enjoyed it a lot...if I have one criticism...the calamari...will never order it again...it taste like fake calamari. I had the personal Small Pizza delicious...my husband enjoyed his meal as well. So.decided to use this place to cater my husbands birthday party. I ordered a large pan of lasagna , sausage and peppers ... bread sticks and caeser salad.....AMAZING!!!!!! My guests raved over the food. Try these guys out...they are amazing!!!!

This place is so amazing, and $10 for a small cheese, or $12-15 for a 2-3 topping and it's high quality is legit

Soooo good and we had both dishes the chicken picatta & my hubby asked for angel hair but my dish was chicken Parmesan subbed the pasta for the Alfredo sauce & got penne & asked for a bit of extra Parmesan since we were out of any. We had just moved a month ago here from Ocean Ranch
& been checking out italian places here & so FAR
hands down, this is our favorite! This is the 4th restaurant weve tried since moving to Mission Viejo, we vote number 1!!
They drive worse here than any of Dana Point area or Ocean Ranch just crazy almost side swiping us &
its busier for traffic well add that but good eats, & so we like many things in area including this great place for Italian food!
