Au Lac is delicious - I've been going there for around 18 years, before the current owners. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Service speed can be spotty as sometimes they get very busy - once, I waited close to two hours for a take out order, which as it turns out had been sitting there on the counter the whole time. The owner - a woman, not Chef Ito - offered me a 15% discount when I said I was just going to leave. I didn't come back for several years. Fortunately, the last few times I've been there, it was good. the last time, they had my order ready to hand me as soon as I walked in the door. The Spring Rolls and BBQ Pork Rolls are fannnntastic and the Chicken Pho is a go-to when we are sick.

The Claypot Fish was phenomenal! I ordered it after reading online that it was "like crack" lol. The flavors were amazing and the serving size was substantial. Even my husband liked it and he's a big seafood guy. The BBQ Pork Rolls were very good as well. I can't wait to try more from this restaurant.
