Potato tacos were super crunchy and flavorful, very generous portion especially for the price. I'm an omnivore, and I'd still choose this veg option any day.

Quality control is all over the place, or I'm just unlucky. When the avocado, bacon, and egg sandwich is good, it's great. Other times, your bacon is so burnt that it disintegrates into bitter dust. Or the greens are brown. Too much of a waste-of-money roulette to order anymore. For breakfast, anyway. Maybe the lunch operation is better.

I have ordered the mushroom burger and several other things from Avalon, and they've always been delicious, so maybe I just chose the wrong items this time. I ordered the avocado toast, a side of vegan sausage, and a cortado. The cortado is tasty but has way too much milk, more like a latte. I only ordered the sausage because I wanted some kind of side and couldn't find an option to order a side of potatoes, which seems odd. The sausage tasted okay but seemed undercooked and is super greasy. The avocado toast was also really greasy. A bit disappointing all around. I'll stick with Jefferson Market for my avocado toast orders in the future!

Maybe the best takeout I've ever gotten. Soup & Bread (VG) and Quesadilla are delicious. Iced coffee arrived perfectly cold and not watered down from melted ice. Big fan. Will definitely order from here again!

Food quality has gone down hill. My chicken sandwich (Crunchy Bird) was sorta burnt and just tough and chewy. I've had some minor issues in the past with Avalon. But this time even the ingredients they used were subpar. Replacing the leafy greens with just some chopped romaine. Barely any of the slaw on the sandwich. Really was a meh experience. My husband said his Fried Egg, Avocado, and Bacon Sandwich was okay but not what it used to be and that something felt like it was missing. We were so excited to see that Avalon had reopened as we order breakfast here quite regularly, but this was truly disappointing.
