Absolutely, the best Biryani we have had in a long long time when in the US or Canada !
The chicken pieces were plenty, soft, juicy and spicy... I can take a high level of spice, but my wife, who gets a severe reflux issue when she has anything spicy for dinner, liked this Bawarchi Special Chicken Biryani / Biryani De Poulet Spécial De Bawarchi 🌶️🌶️🌶️ so much that she said that she will enjoy it now even if she has to suffer later 😂
After our earlier experience with biryani in Montreal (from another restaurant).. which was so dry and the gravy supplied with the biryani was so little that we had to throw a large portion of the biryani ...we ordered extra 'Salan' from Bawarchi, but this Special Biryani was so juicy and tender, we could have done without even the 'salan' ! Just loved it 😄
Caveat....the "Medium Spicy" level which we ordered, in my opinion, would be too much for the US / Canadian Desis unless they are still able to handle the spice levels of India !

No visual appeal like the romanticized menu photos and all the main protein is buried underneath the rice, but the flavour is amazing after pulling out the chicken pieces (meat falls off the bone, good moisture). Spice-heat level seems a bit high but complex and full.
Good value. I was full with just half the shown serving.

Ordered food for 2nd time, Hyderabadi chicken biryani was delicious, got the Mango lassi which was missing from my 1st order, Bawarchi kept their promise ,very impressive ,got complimentary gulab jamun also😋.

Pretty good biriyani. Good quantity but maybe a bit too much gravy for the rice but overall tasty! Will likely order more
