Everything was wonderful! The Fried Fish (Flounder) was flavorful and not dried out. The lima beans were tender and tasty, the cabbage cooked perfectly and well peppered, and the mac and cheese was divine! Huge portions — you will not go away hungry!

Chicken was falling off the bone tender, but there were more bones than meat. Green beans tasted like raw onions. Corn bread was missing. Pound cake slice was so small, & was not good. I've ordered before with much better experience. But not this time.

All the food was very good, and portion sizes were extra large. We had the fried chicken, fried pork chop and meatloaf. All delicious. Even though gravy is listed as a side item that we did not choose, it did come on all the mashed potatoes. A little too much but the serving size of potatoes was so large we scooped off some gravy and still had plenty. Mac and cheese was delicious. The cornbread was the best I've ever eaten!

This was my first order. I didn't take photos because I didn't eat the plate until a couple of hours later. Even after that time this plate was very delicious. The season and batter on the fish was great. I didn't need any sauce at all. The pintos weren't the best I've had but they were still decent. I would get them again. The candied yams were great and just how I do mine. I probably should have eaten the macaroni and cheese hot and fresh but I didn't. Their red velvet was moist but it was too much cream cheese icing for me, personally. I was very happy with my meal over all the the portions sizes. I may become a regular!

This has to be our favorite restaurant, hands down, that we've ordered from on Door Dash that was HOT, TASTY and FAST! All the food had flavor and felt like it was made in a true southern kitchen. And that Banana Pudding ......it's homemade!!!
