On seeing the order I thought the quantity is too less for a full portion and 17$ worth but I couldn't Pierce into the falafel with their plant starch or my sturdy steel fork! The food was far from fresh, saltless and just not tasty. So disappointed! This has not been my experience with cava before so may be its the location. Spicy GreensGrains Bowl

The Bad -There were no greens in my Greens + Grains Bowl. The falafel was stale, the chicken had pieces of cartilidge or bone. So gross. The pita was hard a a rock about 2" in from the edge; it had been microwaved and rolled up in the wrapper .
The Good - the grains, tzatiki, hummus and Balsamc Date dressings. The delivery was straight forward, no issues.
The Great - Blueberry Lavender drink is refreshing and so smooth.

Stingy with the contents of the salad bowl, especially for the price . $5.00 drink only filled 2/3 including ice. Wouldnt order from cava for delivery again. Not worth the price with all the fees etc.. for the tiny salad received

I used to work downtown, across the street from the first Cava location opened in my city. It quickly became a favorite place to grab lunch, and it was not unusual to run into colleagues while doing so. It's been a few years since I've been to that Cava, but a new location has been opened near my home, so I ordered my favorite Greens & Grains (SuperGreens, black lentils, and braised lamb), and some extras that looked yummy.
My bowl was great. Not a ton of lamb for the $4 upcharge, but given the rise in prices of dang near every kind of meat, I'm not especially surprised.
However, the side of roasted eggplant, which is depicted in a large bowl (or is significantly enlarged) is a little 3oz cup - for $4. Worse, the brownie (and presumably the blondie, though mine was missing from my order) was so small and thin, it hardly amounted to more than two bites. Maybe thats meant to keep the portions healthy, but dang it, if I order a brownie, I want a delicious and satisfying brownie.
On the sunny side, the eggplant and brownie were tasty. But they definitely left me wanting more.
