One of the oldest Thai Restaurants in Los Angeles, serving the Fairfax district since 1972, Chao Krung Thai is ready to make you an authentic menu of recipes passed down from generation to generation.…
The Sidewalk Pad Thai tasted great but the portion size was very small. It almost feels like they took a normal order of pad thai and split it in two.
Again, it tastes good but I can't justify the price/5 stars with the portions.

The broth was filled to this level when I opened it. The beef was at the bottom of the broth, and there were about 3 pieces. The dimsum was over cooked but everything tasted nice.

This restaurant is not worth the money. Very small portions, no flavor at all. Very bland. Tom kha Soup taste like they used mop water to cook it. Other places have better flavor and you get twice as much for the money you spend. Will never order here again. Terrible experience

The curry was really greasy. The soup only had two shrimps. The Neau Dad Deaw "Picanha Thai Jerky" was not the same jerky that I've ordered in the past. The ice was melted in the tea.

First time ordering and will definitely be coming back. The Crispy Egg Rolls were so delicious and crunchy. The Gra Pow Rad Khao "Chili Holy Basil over Rice" with ground pork was so flavorful and the rice cooked perfect. We also got the Pad Kee Mow Noodles "Spicy Drunken Noodles"(a Great Hangover Cure) which was the perfect amount of heat. Nothing was overly greasy or oily. Portions were large and had left overs for a two days. Highly recommend.
