• DoorDash orderTaso Beef is a flavor-packed, crispy, and juicy Haitian delicacy that never disappoints. The beef is perfectly marinated, then fried to golden perfection, giving it a slightly crunchy exterior while keeping the inside tender and flavorful. Every bite bursts with rich, garlicky, and slightly spicy notes, making it a must-try for anyone who loves bold flavors.
Paired with crispy fries, the dish gets a satisfying crunch, and the addition of sweet plantains takes it to another level. The soft, caramelized plantains balance out the savory and spicy elements, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors.
Whether enjoyed on its own or with a side of pikliz (spicy pickled slaw) for an extra kick, Taso Beef is a Haitian classic that always hits the spot. Perfect for a comforting, flavorful meal!

• DoorDash orderI hate to do this but I'm over it. I'm a loyal customer who order here on a weekly basis and lately it's just been insulting. For the price that is charge its quite disrespectful for what recieved. $18 for Griyo Island Pork and get mostly fats or a different meat. Ordered a Griyo bowl today and received 3 peaches of meat with fats and white rice? I'm simply disappointed and as of now will not order here again sadly.

• DoorDash orderGriot and pikliz! in Nashville?! Love it! For reference, griot is so good that it used to be on the Acme Feed and Seed menu because the owners or maybe the chef loved it so much that they brought it back to one of Nashville's most famous establishments! It is no longer on their menu leaving a void for Haitian food. Chez Lama to the rescue! Granted nothing beats my mother's cooking or the great Haitian restaurants in Miami but this is more than a suitable option! The rice and beans is always the way to go. Put the Griyo Island Pork on top followed by the Pikliz and let your tastebuds go to heaven. It is so great to have the Caribbean's best island food (yeah, I said it) here! I try to order once a week and it never fails!

• DoorDash orderGenerous portions and very flavorful. I got the Kabrit ak Sos (Goat stew) and it was tender and seasoned well. I was hoping for a bit more juice but all in all very well prepared.
The Jus Corossol with lemon (soursop juice) was refreshing and prepared the way you would expect lemonade to be prepared with a good amount of sweetness.
And omg the generous side of Pikliz added the perfect dose of heat. If you're new to Pikliz START SLOW. It's very spicy

• DoorDash orderAuthentic Haitian food right here in Nashville! Griyo ak sòs (Island Pork with sauce) and Pikliz reminds me of home in South Florida. I order regularly with rice . . . just delicious
