Our order of Chika-Chika Boom-Boom Enchilada's and Chuy's signature Chuychanga arrived in a well sealed and oversized take out container. The portions were generous and the food was hot and delicious. A large bag of tortilla chips with included sauces and sour cream are in separate sealed containers. I feel the people involved in preparing and assembling the delivery live by the Golden Rule...

I added the avocado slices and they were lined up, just avocado! I got one full slice(about 1/6 of an avocados) another half slice. At first I thought they forgot them but they were mixed with tomatoes and lettuce!
The enchiladas were just chicken and tortillas! Very dry! I asked for queso sauce on the side but container wadnt full at all and really didnt moisten the enchiladas! I added my own cheese, salsa, some sour cream!
Unusual for Chuys! First time I was disappointed! Someone new in the kitchen?

The Tex-Mex Enchiladas were not as tasty as the reviews stated. The nachos (for what you get) are barely nachos and not worth the price as they too do are deficient in taste. The tacos were enjoyable, but my family has had better. Sad to say, but the best part of the "meal" was the tortillas. I will not be ordering from Chuy's ever again.

Finally! The Chewy's that I grew to live in Austin and here in Waco when it first opened seems to have gotten back on track. After several pretty poor meals, today was wonderful! The chips were thin, crunchy and fresh. The salsa Fresca is one of my favorite things offered at Chewy's. It is fresh with just enough heat to know it's there, but not overpowering.
The child's enchilada plate was very good and cheesy with the Ranchero sauce, and enough beans and rice to satisfy a very hungry child or even adult-a really good buy because it's only a dollar more than just one enchilada as a side, but also has the same amount of refried beans and Spanish rice that an adult plate would come with. So if you want a cheese enchilada but aren't super hungry, this is a good way to go.
I don't care for the sauce that comes with the chicken flautas, so I substitute cheese sauce and it's marvelous. Made with tender white meat chicken, and fried to be tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. It comes with a good amount of beans and rice, along with a salad of sour cream, nicely spiced guacamole and chopped tomatoes.
The only thing that sob wasn't super impressed with this evening was the side of guacamole. The flavor was fine, but for $2.35, I'd expect more that a heaping tablespoon.
