The Flip Flop is the best sandwich to ever exist. Italian Combo is a close second. Court St Grocers never disappoints.

Really liked the anchovy sandwich the last time i ordered it, it was disappointing this time as it was lacking Anchovy (I had 1 small Anchovy in the sandwich. For a $17+ sandwich, I was expecting a tiny bit more. The italian combo I got was not bad.

My honest opinion/ first react after hearing about it.
Good, not great.
But I believe if they offered more Kats styled portions options, people would pay to have it in the area.
The delight - Less sauce/coleslaw, let the flavors combine for a better experience. The sauce overpowered the whole sandwich. Let the homemade corned beef short ribs take the stage.
The droopy - Would have been better with 4 more oz of meat, and served as a hot sandwich. Definitely more fried onions, we want the crunch. More pepper in the horseradish mayo. A little more hot honey over the arugula, some vinegar to cut and viola. I'd pay extra for that.
Suggestion: A heavy French dip sandwich would be a good option in the area.
Also, serve pickles with your sandwich, that's standard. Don't slack when you went that hard on getting the customized butcher paper. Show up for your customer where it matters. Nourish them.
Invest in a Fryer, add some fries to the menu and introduce a seasonal sandwich like a thanksgiving leftovers sandwich you're golden, elevating you to top sandwich spot in the area, in direct competition with Defonte's.
Do you have a rewards card? If not start one. You'll get repeat customers who just want to try all the sandwiches and that'll be there incentive. I'll bring you one step farther. Promote the rewards card as a way to aid in homeless hunger. They can give the cost of that sandwich towards aid in feeding the homeless, once a month.

This is one of my favorite sandwich places in the city. I've tried most of different sandwiches and each is fantastic in its own way. The Ollie and the Turkish Delight and the breakfast sandys are particularly good. Wish I lived next door to this place so I could go every day!
