Absolutely best South American food, from any country, that I have had. The Empanadas are huge, STUFFED, and came piping hot. You can tell they cook with love because and are absolutely delicious. I will never eat a pierogi again. They come with a cilantro, citrus cabbage slaw with a kind salsa. I had the potato, beef, and pork Empanadas and enjoyed them all but in that order it I was being specific. The potato Empanadas are SO GOOD like unreal. Their Empanadas were huge and came fresh & piping hot. You guys killed it. They must have really authentic recipes, and no other place comes close to their quality and quantity.
Can't wait to tell everyone about this place.

I ordered the tacos and pinto beans. Both were seasoned very well better than I ever had; however the picture showed 3 tacos I got one and the pinto beans is a puree, soup like textured no bean to chew. I wasn't happy. I didn't have sour cream, salsa even guacamole as a choice to add. Not on my heart list or to order again. I'll wait and try again to see if anything changes but for now; not in a hurry for a taco or soup like beans again from El Guanaco. Maybe next year. Dasher was on time, thx Doordash. I was also given food in a plastic bag no restaurant name anywhere. Remember presentation is every thing. We taste with our eyes before our mouth. Unfortunately, this was a blind tasting..I'll try again next year. I put one star for seasoning.

Don't have pictures, but baby let me tell you as a Mexican that was feeling under the weather and needed Pazole in my life and was at work, headed to Doordash. This was the 1st place to pop up within 10 miles with Pazole. Then I got curious when I read the ingredients of the Salvadorian Tamales and the Pupusas 3 Ingredients and had to try them. I was thrown off by the Salvadorian Tamales being wrapped in banana leaf. All I kept thing is Tamales and Pasteles hybrid?? It is soooo good, the maza is so soft and the baby leaf flavor is undeniable. As a kid I've had fresh cheese flour tortillas, but never with meat. Another Win with the Pupusas 3 Ingredients. Everything was wonderful and flavorful. The only things missing for me were radishes for my Pazole and hot salsa, which is probably the difference between Mexican and Guatemalan. I think this is about to be my new favorite spot. I'll just bring some hot salsa and radishes from home. This place is AMAZING!!

This was our first time ordering here. Many items on the menu we had to look up to know what they were and that minor annoyance paid off huge!! As we opened each box and started trying bites of each item we were shockingly surprised to discover the flavor of even ordinary items such as the guacamole were bursting with flavors we had never experienced before. Along with their cheese dip (aka queso ), and seasoned cabbage (coleslaw) were the BEST we have ever had. I also have to give a huge shoutout to their PUPUSAS, something we have never tried before, which were absolutely delicious. I would hands down recommend this place, even to Vegetarians. Which they have a dedicated spot on the menu for. To my husbands surprise that included Corn Tamales, tamales being something he hasn't had since he stopped eating meat. We can not wait to eat here again.

Stale chips. Cheese tasted like salt. Beans & rice have zero flavor. Chimichanga Lunch Special was disappointing. Barely any beef. Waste of $20
