Chana Masala Chickpea empanada was AMAZING and the Maduros were just right. The Guava Smoothie was yummy and refreshing. I'd order all of it again except for the Vegan Indian Samosa Empanada, but that's just because of my personal taste. I'll definitely be back for more!

First..these empanadas are stuffed with your choice of fillings! 2 can be a meal for me.
The Jerk Chicken Empanada was my favorite hands down! I loved it! If you're not a fan of heat...this may not be for you but, try it anyway..lol!! This had the right amount of heat, wasn't dry, was filling and tasty.
The Beef Empanada (#2), was very good and overstuffed! Flavorful and filling.
I would have loved to try the Beef and Cheese Empanada but they were out..
:( The restaurant replaced with a Meatball Parm Empanada. It wasn't bad, but not something I would want in an empanada (this is my personal preference).
The Chicken and Cheese Empanada was really stuffed with chicken. However, I did not taste any cheese, therefore it was a little dry. It was still good. I think the amount of chicken included needed a little moisture.
BTW..my family and I shared these empanadas and they contributed their opinions.

So good. I order from here all the time and im never disappointed. The Mexican Street Corn is lit my favorite item on the menu and my new favorite empanada is the Pernil Empanada

so, I'm not going to fault the store for our own taste buds...I grew up in the Bronx and I'm used to my best friend's mom's Puerto Rican dishes... let's face it, everyone cooks/prepared/seasons differently. it's what you get used to.
I actually had 2 orders this day because my original order had cancellations in it, so I quickly ordered more right away to come in the same delivery.
with that said...we ordered a TOTAL of 2 chicken and cheese empanadas, 1 beef and cheese, 1 chorizo and Mac and cheese, 1 pernil, garlic and Parmesan chicken wings and maduros (forgetting that I actually like to stones better...thinner cut.) here's our overall review...
chicken and cheese were great! unfortunately they only sent 1 of the 2.
beef and cheese...can't rate because they sent us 2 plain beef (instead of the beef and cheese and chicken and cheese we were supposed to get) beef was ok...but we all prefer cheese in our empanadas.
chorizo and mac n cheese...my son said was "weird" and shouldn't really go together.
the pernil...was good, again a matter of taste buds and what you are used to...I didn't 100% care for the "sauce/gravy" the meat was in, for lack of a better word to describe it.
the maduros are sweet...but I forgot I don't like the "mushy" texture of chunks of plantain. my bad! not theres!
the cheese fries would be better eaten right after they are made...if you have them delivered just know that they are going to steam in the container and get totally mush... also not their fault. just FYI...
last but not least, the wings....ok this is where I will knit pick and make a suggestion (because I am Italian and know my garlic and Parmesan LoL)... the garlic Parmesan wings are really like wings thrown into overpowered Italian dressing with chunks of fresh garlic. I did not taste Parmesan, nor did I really taste the garlic...just overpowering Italian dressing like flavor. I wiped all the sauce off with paper towels, because that's the only way you can taste the chicken. the chicken wings themself are decent sized.
