Fruits of the Sea at their Best! Fresh and sweet, the Sashimi Appetizer has everything a sashimi lover needs... in layman's terms, we have Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, and for dessert, White Tuna! They offer a dollop of wasabi and some pickled ginger on the side. It is nicely done.

What an absolute delight for a Monday evening when making dinner seems like too much! This healthy, delicious meal comes with a selection of 16 fresh, succulent pieces of fish. Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, and White Tuna, which just happen to be my favorites! Served on a bed of fresh shredded radish, with pickled ginger and that perfect heat of wasabi, it is the best combination.
But... to make this meal perfection? Double Dash it with a HyVee order of Sake and mandarin oranges! You have the Japanese dining experience in your own home.
(Plus I earned a $10 off coupon from Formosa. See restaurant info for details)

The lettuce the crab cakes was on was gross and wilty, even the lettuce with no sauce was brown on the edges. I did not eat it bc I didn't want to risk getting sick. On top of this, the crab cakes were much smaller than the last time I ordered and seemed to have less crab. I def expected better

The Grand Sashimi Boat from Formosa was less plentiful or aesthetically pleasing for delivery, which was not very surprising.
The variety of fresh fish was delicious. Salmon, Red Tuna, Yellowtail, White Tuna, which are all of my favorites!
I feel that they should have included more than 2 packets of soy sauce, and definitely more wasabi and pickled ginger for the number of sashimi pieces included. Especially since they include 2 sets of chopsticks, indicating a meal for two.

Lion King, fish roe nigiri and crab cakes are perfect, exactly the way I wanted. Octopus sashimi came in 2 large pieces instead of the 4 in the picture. Tokyo Wraps has a bit too much eel or teriyaki sauce but that's a matter of preference. I would still reorder it.
