This meal was the perfect lunch amount. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly, and we were wowed by sweet potato casserole. I never brag on fried okra but George's is perfectly done. Overall, we are happily satisfied.

I order the Italian Nachos 1 time a week almost every week, they are the best thing on their menu!! there are TONS of TOPPINGS and enough for a family of 4 to split and have a small meal with. ORDER THESE !!!!

Chicken fried steak seems to have lost the flavor it originally had. I've been a long time patron of George's since I was tiny enough to stand on a chair to play shuffleboard. The steak inside was fairly tender, but was really thin. The batter was doughy, not much seasoning. I remember the cream gravy having a chicken broth flavor, but it's just regular cream gravy now, nothing to write home about. Texas Roadhouse, and Cotton Patch of all places, has a better CFS as of now.

The Quesadillas from the OG Georges are always so good. The tortillas are just crunchy enough and the onion caramelized to PERFECTION! The Fried Mushrooms are impeccable. I really appreciate my dasher Jose* for contacting me. My apartment isnt easy to find. They did amazing!
