I’ve always been a fan of Gilaneh and have recommended it to many friends for its authentic Persian flavors and elegant presentation. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. The portion size was significantly smaller than usual, and unfortunately, the food was burnt — something I never expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Given Gilaneh’s strong reputation and past consistency, this came as a surprise.
That said, I still believe in the quality and legacy of Gilaneh and truly hope this was just a one-off incident. Looking forward to seeing them back to their best soon.

Never buying from this place again. They charged 7 dollars for Baklava | باقلوا and it literally comes in 2 small pieces not worth 50 cents. The Fesenjan | فسنجان was mediocre at best, probably like a 4/10. Not worth it

Their Koobideh Kebab | کوبیده has been a bit dry and chewy recently which is sad because they were the only persian restaurant with high quality delicious and juicy koobideh. I hope they go back to the way they used to cook this before.

While items are relatively more expensive comparing to other restaurants, Koubideh was obviously overcooked and hard to chew. Also Maahicheh was actually a bit undercooked.
