we had 2 big family orders of 16 Golden Tenders® and fried 12 Pieces Mixed Chicken was so hot and fresh 10/10

Nearly every time I've ordered the half& half 10 Pieces Dark Chicken or even the 10 Piece all Fried Chicken it's been great! What sets this Chicken apart from other restaurants is the marinated meat. The flavor is deep within the meat, so it's much better than just the tastiness being only in the outer crust.
But this was one of the few times that there wasn't much flavor in the baked pieces, but no flavor at all in the Fried chicken, in fact was rather bland tasting. That's very disappointing because the flavor in the meat is why I ordered from Golden Chick.
So based upon the average of times I've ordered, I would still recommend them.
I realize every business is trying to save money and so they may take short-cuts effecting the quality. With all things being possible, I'm guessing it wasn't marinated as long or at all.
At some point I'll try them again, but with the rising cost, I expect the known quality flavor to be good every time, not hit & miss!

Hi, This is the 2nd, maybe 3rd time I've ordered the 1/2 & 1/2 10 pc Dark Chicken. Initially, I was very impressed. The crust was flavorful, but better yet, the meat itself had great flavor in both varieties. Same with in this order. However, This time the fried chicken crust was flovorless, except the fact that it had a strong burnt-like taste, but no burn marks. The BBQ chicken was not as delicious like before. The skin was so peppery, even after applying a paper towel. It was as if a open pepper container fell on it. This order was also much more greasy than before. The chicken was sitting in a good size puddle of grease in the bottom boat. I ordered within dinner hour, when it should be fresher.
Dispite this time around, I will say again, the flavor of the meat is great! I could have complained, ask for a refund/redelivery but didn't; mainly because of my history, though short, with Golden Chick has had delicious food. I'll chalk it up this time as a fluke. I will try them again. But if the experience is as tonight, in good conscious, I'll have to complain, just so the restaurant managment will know what is being served.
All in all, I do recommend this restaurant.

Saturday night pickup orders are tricky. Butwe were patient and kind to staff and everything was great. Kudos the 4 people working that night. The Big & Golden Chicken Sandwich was delicious.... and the Golden Tenders® are my favorite- juicy, and go great with the mashed potatoes. And the Side Salad was also very well made.
