Always so delicious and fresh. The Heart Attack Roll is very creamy with a nice spice to it. Their soy sauce is also the best

Generally pretty good, but the Edamame were a bit undercooked and completely unseasoned. The Smoke Sake Sushi, which has been pretty solid before, included one piece of fish that was pretty rubbery and smelled quite fishy, which is unusual for smoked salmon.

Horrible Sushi. As a trained chef that sarted off doing Yakitori at an izakaya before moving on to Michelin restaurants, you should be embarrassed.
I attached the picture of the unagi roll where there is only a centimeter of eel (the package of unagi on the left cost 3.49$), barely any sauce, and whose "smart" idea was to fill the roll 90% of cucumber but cut them into julienne which then changes the density and ruin texture feel?
Salmon Avocado Roll was with grey salmon that was mushy.
Spicy Tuna Roll had no flavor regardless of the limited amount. How do you mess up spicy tuna which is already left over scrapings from the body of the tuna?
Also your chefs dont know how to make sushi vinegar properly when making the sushi rice.
Owners can challenge this review and I'll come in and actually make proper rolls, but I would never work for them.

The Godzilla roll had way too much tuna stacked on top of it. The sauce should be more on the roll itself, it tasted bland without it.

Gorilla sushi used to be my go to spot until I tried a slightly more expensive sushi spot that was actually amazing and high quality, no soy sauce was needed for their sushi. Unfortunately after coming back to gorilla sushi I realized that no matter how much soy sauce you put on this sushi, it just is not good enough quality. The rolls lack flavor and at times taste very fishy and old. Safe to say this will be the last time I spend money here.
