I was skeptical at first on trying their food however throughout all of 2024 I startin sampling their food an thought the chicken tasted great and savory, the sauerkraut is a nice mix with the stylized sauce they provide and their spice choices are fairly balanced. My one takeaway is when I tried their HANGRY HOT sandwich, it tasted great and the spice was okay. The spice would be around a 7.5/10 for me and I was able to hndle it well just by eating the sandwich all the way through. I really feel like their menu could expand and add even better selections than what they have. If youre not in the mood fo KFC or Popeyes, this is a #1 alternative I would recommend as their food is always hot and delicious, I always want to order from them again.

This is the best chicken sandwich I've had anywhere. I order no heat, which has good flavor with a tiny bit of heat, which is balanced perfectly with the creamy sweet heat from the sauce and the acidity of the pickle, the slightly sweet acidity and crunch of the slaw, and the grilled brioche bun. The chicken breast is HUGE, bigger than the bun, and always perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. I've ordered the tenders before, but the meat from the sandwich is juicier and more tender, and I find I prefer that, even on days I eat it without the bun, with the slaw and pickles on the side and get extra sauce to dip it, tender-style. The waffles and fries are a big hit with my family as well, but the star here is the Chicken Sando!

First of all I want to state that the chicken in the Combo 1 (Sando+Fries+Drink) is bigger than the bun it comes with. Second I chose the Angry Hot option which smells Innocent at first and on the taste it is like Nothing on the bite, BUT it evolves slowly to a Death Punch of heat. NOT for the faint of heart, stomach, and further digestion(later). I love the experience the meal has given me, but I'd stick to the milder options as Angry Hot in my eyes is worth a one time try for me(and not necessarily another wonderful soul). Proceed with caution to what ever intensity tickles your fancy. Side Note: the cider slaw is a Nice addition(but I would've had a less inventive recipe and been a Tiny Bit happier), and the waffle fries could take on and defeat Chick-fil-a any day(provided they were all properly cut and separated, but even with the lack of attention I still would eat again). Thai Thai Milk Tea tasted like WATER! No flavor at all, absolutely disgusting. Tenders were small compared to past orders, I have noticed I get more when I go in the restaurant to order then I do when I order through Door Dash.

The Combo 1 (Sando+Fries+Drink) exceeded expextations. I've been waiting for a local place like this and it did not disappoint. The chicken is delicious and the sauce is amazing! 10 out of 10 recommend to give Hangry Joe's a try TODAY, you won't regret it.
