first time doordash from Hawthorne. we got a pepperoni extra cheese pizza and garlic parm wings. the pizza: beautiful brown poofy crust, crunchy on the outside and nice and chewy texture as good as any crust ever. the dough makes the pizza and this was 15 out of 10. the sauce, cheese and pepperoni are zero complaints in that department. the wings: very large, arrived pretty warm and extremely crispy with a fantastic flavor. absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. totally more stars than 5.

I moved here from NY and was spoiled with great pizza on every corner so I didn't have high hopes that I'd get a good pizza. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Elizabeth Special Pizza and gave special instructions to have it baked well done. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Best pizza I've had since I moved to NC 3 years ago. I will be ordering from them from now on.

I have to commend Hawthornes for allowing additions/ changes to their menu items. Not only that but when you add they give you a good amount of it ! I also appreciate having gluten free options because since making the switch it's getting harder to find places to eat out at. Gluten Free Penne Supreme is amazing and makes me feel like I'm having real pasta again!

I paid $40 for pizza and they were very small. I don't even want to know how much two large pizzas would be. Dough was very tough too.
