I ordered the Crab Cakes, Large Liver dinner and mushrooms. When I tell you that crab cake was sooo good! The liver was cooked to perfection! Not too hard and not raw! My new fave order from Hip Hop!!

I'm a big guy and one thing I'll never do is lie on food, this is the best chicken I've tasted in my life, not in years but My Life. Crunchy tender hot and perfectly seasoned chicken. And the fries were good old fashioned crispy crunch and a beautiful bite. If your second guessing trying this place, you'll regret it. 10PC Chicken Mix

Everything we had was above excellent. Great fish dinners 3PC Catfish Dinner, 2PC Whiting Dinner. Corn Nuggets Fried Pickles, Fried Green Tomatos , Fried Mushrooms, French Fried Green Tomato all fabulous flavor and excellent texture. Absolutely recommend because we will be back. I must bring up a disappointment though,, they had no tarter sauce for our fish, however had plenty of honey mustard. Oh, and the 2PC Tenders with Fries don't want to forget them they were excellent also.

3 piece 3PC Catfish Dinner was great, would have liked some Tartar sauce with it but do not see any on their site. 7PC Jumbo Shrimp and the 20PC Shrimp Dinner both were great..Jumbo shrimp nice and large but here again no cocktail sauce now I thought I did order that, but didn't get it. Onion Rings, Corn Nuggets and Garden Salad very good also. Corn Nuggets especially tasty. Found out why there is a selection for No Fries (S), fries come with most everything so we have fries for the bevy two days :) but that's alright. Truth be know these folks have great food, and down home cooking, very good. The fish and shrimp were so tasty that we really did not miss the sauces that much, but they need to offer both. I recommend you stop by andgive them a try if you haven't been there yet....I don't think they will disappoint.

This is the very best place for seafood, especially having food delivered. It is well packed, fresh and always hot. Something from 1 block away is never hot. Or missing some of the food items. You won't be disappointed on anything you order from Hip hop on N. Ashley street.
