Kung pao chicken is pretty good, not the best I've had (Tea House in MNPLS) but best I've found in Madison for sure. Spring rolls were dissapointing, lacking flavor, small, and came with packaged sauce. Would only order the kung pao again but it's worth it for sure!

The lamb is tender, which is good, but way too salty. The lamb slice is too big. There is little onion (or any other spices), which is essential to this dish. Mixing lamb and onion and eating them together is the best way to eat it authentically , but you cannot get that with what's given.

I cannot explain how delicious this food is. I even drove the 20 min to pick up and brought it back. it was packaged delicately and all the food was still piping hot.
the 90. Xinjiang Style Sauteed Spicy Chicken was out of this world with the treasure of the saucy noodles at the bottom of the bowl! and the 1. Dumplings with Spicy Sauce had the most creamy sauce. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

We are first time Ichiban customers and we a bit disappointed in our food tonight. We orderedi 95. Spicy and Crispy Chicken , 57. Fried Rice, D6. General Tso's Sauce, 11. Potstickers, and 14. Shanghainese Spring Rolls. The spicy and crispy chicken pieces were very small, so I didnt get to taste the actual chicken very well. The pepper pieces were as big or bigger than the chicken pieces. The chicken breading flavor was good, although the pepper was too spicy for me, but obviously it's in the title so I dont fault them for that! Fried rice was pretty good, one of the better fried rice I've had in the area. The general tsos didnt taste at all like the sauce I am used to, pretty sweet. I didnt mind it but my husband didn't care for it at all. The potstickers and spring rolls were pretty basic, tasted good but bitjing special.
Not sure if we got them on a bad night or if the dishes we ordered were better in the restaurant than delivery.

This place never fails to scratch that authentic itch. The 26. Black Wood Ears with Pickled Pepper may be one of the best appetizer dishes I've ever eaten.
