I’ve been looking for good Filipino food in Utah, and this place hits the spot! The Crispy Pata is incredible—so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The garlic rice is packed with flavor, and the vinegar dip takes everything to the next level. I just wish they gave me more of it! Definitely going to order again!

This is my first time trying Janis. I was impressed with the pork SISIGSILOG and HALO-HALO !
That being said, I have traveled around the Philippines and have a good baseline to compare the food.
The pork SISIGSILOG was very tasty and flavorful. And to my taste, as I didn't taste any ginger in it. (ginger isn't my thing) The rice was flavorful from the sauce and meats. I requested some chopped chili. (Should have asked for more). The pork was cooked well, I personally would prefer a little more fat pieces, though. (I understand that most people probably prefer lean meats) The portion was filling. I ordered a second serving of rice, which I didn't even need for this meal. (The rice did not go to waste)
HALO-HALO was very good! They filled it up with fruits and toppings. Taste exactly how it be in the Philippines! At first, I was worried that it would spill or get messy, but they had used a large boba cup style that the top is sealed.
Overall, great experience and will definitely order again!
I'm already craving another HALO-HALO !

So delicious! It reminds me of home! If you haven't tried filipino food, I highly suggest you try it from this place.
the serving of rice is "filipino generous", meaning there's a perfect rice to protein ratio.
the sisig in the Sisigsilog bowl was well seasoned, tangy, and mildly spicy from the chile flakes; the fried egg was cooked to perfection; and the side of cucumber and red onion salad gave the dish a welcomed fresh element. the best way to eat this is to cut up the fried egg, squeeze the lemon wedge on top, then mix it all together and enjoy.
the Special of the Day came with pansit, dumplings, and lechon kawali; perfectly seasoned, noodles were well cooked, the lechon was deliciously crispy, fatty, and melts in your mouth; served with a lemon wedge to add acidity to cut the fat and oil from the rest of the dish.
I also ordered a side of Extra Vinegar 2 oz , of which tasted like they use the coconut variety and they added in fresh diced red onion; this is vinegar is slightly sweet and not very acidic to complement any dish you add it to.
if you've made it this far into my review, I sincerely hope you give this place a try.
