Founded in 2006, Jimmy Wan’s Restaurant & Lounge is the Pittsburgh area’s premier restaurant for Chinese cuisine and sushi.
Preparing a collection of traditional and innovative Chinese dishes, fresh …
The hot and sour was good, as was the chicken with broccoli. I could go hotter on both of them on the spice scale (ordered a 5), but the flavor was good. The triple crown roll tasted good but was VERY skimpy. Each piece was about 1 centimeter in height, and there were only 5. Hardly worth $21. I will order stir fry dishes again, but not the sushi.

I had always heard great things about Jimmy Wangs, but was disappointed with the delivery/takeout. Perhaps it's better if you eat at the restaurant where it is served fresh and hot. We ordered the tangerine-orange filet mignon (Orange Beef) and that was very disappointing for $40. The steak was tender and not over cooked at all, but lacked flavor as well as the crispy semi-breading that makes orange beef so delightful. The chicken with broccoli was also flat tasting. The crab Rangoon was good, but no better than a corner Chinese takeout. The scallion pancake was cool and chewy by the time it arrived.
Again, due to the delivery time, the food may have not been at its best, and I would still be open to trying Jimmy Wangs in person and not delivery.

The menu said that the Peking duck half had extra crispy skin but it was not. Even my dog didn't want it. I hate wiggly fatty skin. It seemed like the gave me mostly skin. There was very little meaty parts. A waste of $36. it had no taste and was very bland. I am so pissed. The sauce was good but there was not even enough to cover all the duck. The rice was good. crab rangoon and miso soup were way over priced for want I got. I usually get a large soup for 6 and 6 for 5 crab rangoon . This was $18 for a small miso soup and crab rangoon . It was nothing to write home about, again not worth the high price. I had heard this was a good place to eat. This was my first and last time eating at this place.

Way overpriced for less than mediocre food. Rice was dry. Broccoli was soggy. Would not order again. I've had better food from a food court in the mall.
