The Seitan Wings / Bits are good and even better in the sauce provided.
Smaller portion than expected.

Beef Birria, the tacos themselves were tasty, but the consomme was too salty for my liking. I decided to just eat the tacos as is without it. Churro was flavorful and a good sized portion.

Just wow! I’m in Port Richmond but was in South Philly for some errands my husband and I decided to give this place a try. He is obsessed with birria and they have a vegan version so I can finally experience it as well! We picked it up and brought it home…
It was amazing!! The Vegan Birria filling isn’t a fake meat, I don’t exactly what it’s made of but I definitely saw black beans and chickpeas and maybe potatoes. I could only eat one, they were so hearty and filling. The consommé was so rich and flavorful. So much depth that I feel is usually missing in vegan broths/stews.
My husband loved his birria as per usual. When he was ranking it for me he put it juuuuust under Loco Pez (his fav) because he likes a little more cheese. He hates driving in center city/south Philly but he said he would make the drive for Juana anytime I want it.
We will definitely be back to try more!
