• DoorDash orderWe love K&W & have eaten there forever. Since delivery's available, even more! Good food at a fair price. Large portions, enough for 2 meals sometimes. The Chicken Pan Pie is always perfect. Flakey crust and lots of chunky chicken. The Stewed Apples are like Grandma made and the Green Beans too. The Soft Rolls are perfect except you get no butter. Sad. The Buttered Coconut and Egg Custard pies were amazing! The only problem with the Mashed Potatoes is I asked for no gravy and got it anyway. When received, the bag was tipped to one side when the driver passed it over and the beans had come open and there was greasy juice on all the containers so we had a mess to clean before we could eat. That one's on the Dasher!

• DoorDash orderI've eaten at K&W since a kid & I'm 63. It's always been Good food at a fair price. Large portions always and homestyle cooking. The chicken livers were huge & perfectly cooked. The Coconut pie wasn't what I ordered. I received the Buttered Coconut pie, not the Coconut Cream. The Strawberry Shortcake was awesome. Light and airy cake, just perfect. The Baked Spaghetti has changed. It had something very hot & spicy in it. I couldn't eat it & it's always been a favorite.

• DoorDash ordercountry style steak was a 6-sided frozen beef? patty so tough it broke a tine on my included fork. I have a TABLESPOON of brown gravy. Really? The new owners changed from chopped round steak, making a delicious country style steak swimming in gravy to a hockey puck with a table spoon of graveyard
I know because I measured it. Mac and cheese is not like the original. it's bagged and reheated. less labor plus higher portion cost. the chocolate coconut pie did have some coconut in it, but, again several steps down in quality from the Allreds reign. Ah the dinner roll. I don't know how they did it but they vulcanizing dough. the dinner roll was tougher than Sears though skins jeans for kids. itcwas also a par baked roll that wasn't completely baked.
K&W will not get another chance to rip me off. poor quality food. small portions. wete done you should quit too. not a Carolina owned company

• DoorDash reviewthe picture clearly shows sides, but for $17.99 I got one chicken breast, and I piece of fish and Mac with no cheese. The taste of the meat was good, but where are the sides?

• DoorDash orderI ended up getting the chicken pan pie and the recipe had been changed. a Lil disappointed. wish I hadda went with the chicken breast. always good. and the turkey and dressing is my go to. it's good. actually has gotten better. the coleslaw had a chemical taste. it seems like it's changed too?
but over all my food is always good.
