• DoorDash orderOk.. soo the pizza was good but im wondering if they use the same amount of dough for a personal as the other sizes because it was oddly thick and squishy. I almost questioned if it was fully cooked as it's normally thin and crispy. It just flopped over when trying to eat it (also from the weight of all the excess cheese) and had the softness of white sandwich bread. Taste was ok but I like thin crust and way less cheese. It was globbed on and felt like it was ALL cheese that didnt fully cook. This was not what we expect when ordering from here but it was our first time ordering the personal pizzas...
We also got tiramisu... it was frozen SOLID. You can see the lines where I hit it with a spoon. I wish I could post a video because it was a brick of ice. Even after sitting out for 3 hours it wasnt fully thawed. When I could taste what thawed.. it was cheesecake. Taste and texture of cheesecake. 1 thin strip in the center had the faintest amount of espresso but it was only if you sectioned out that small piece that youd taste it. Otherwise worst ive ever had because again.. it was cheesecake. Very disappointing. Youd like to be able to eat something once it arrives, not several hours to the next day to be ableto enjoy it. Next time we'll skip their deserts all together and just get the large pies if we order from here again any time soon. We tried this again since it's been a while and we used to religiously order from here for over a decade but we prefer other shops in town now as those are always consistant. Lavitas used to be this thin, bubbly crust, lighter on the cheese that bubbled also (it was so good!) and the sauce was differnt. Everything feels differnt than how they used to be years ago. Such a shame because it used to be the best in town. Now it's just ok.
