The grilled chicken and rice and beans is my go to for sure! The rice is SO flavorful and cooked perfectly!!! The chicken?! DELICIOUS! Portion sizes are large and very filling. I cant rave about this place enough. I always recommend this spot whenever I can. Very affordable too!!

The food is good but the Tres Leches is AMAZING! ONE OF THE BEST Tres Leches I HAVE EVER HAD. The $10 Plato Combo de Pernil / Roasted Pork Combo Platter and $10 Plato Combo de Pollo Guisado / Stew Chicken Combo Platter are fair priced and decent portions. The rice to meat ratio is a little off, as I would prefer 50/50 not 60/40, rice. Also, i thought the sides would actually come on the side but they didnt. I like to eat the habichuelas separately but they put them in the rice. The platano maduros also weren't very good; they did not seem ripe/sweet enough and you are only given 3.

I LOVE this restaurant!It truly reminds me of the food my abuelita made when I was a kid. Their sofrito and flavours are on point, their meat is soo tender I literally just a use a spoon. and their portion sizes are big- every container is stuffed. it's honestly the Arroz con Gandules / Rice with Pigeon Peas that ishe most nostalgic for me, every time I'd see it on a menu I'd order it since it was my favorite growing up, this is the only place that tastes like home to me. Soo good! if you're unsure just try it chances are it's bangin.

The rice was delicious.However the chicken was more bone than meat and was dry, that was disappointing. The tres leches the portion was very small compared to other places for the same price without any cherry. Overall thankful for the service. Advice please improve on the meat and side portions instead of filling up the platter with rice.
