Authentic Dominican Food! The squash in the Habichuelas guisadas / Stew Beans, the way the Empanadas are seasoned, the Mangu con Queso , Salami y Huevo and the Sancocho dominicano / four meet soup are like your grandmother made them for you (mangu was missing red onions, but I ordered breakfast at 9pm) ... I am first Gen Dominican and this place should have 5 stars! If someone gives it less, they dont know what it's supposed to taste like . I'm visiting from Maryland and grew up in NY, I am shocked to have found this place here!!! Super happy!!! Usually to have my faves I have to cook it all myself, this was a nice treat!!!

This place food it's exceptional , I LOVE IT ! Supper affordable compare to other restaurant around Harrisburg . The owners are lovely people and try to communicate with you has much as they can .

I was really looking forward to trying this...
The alcapurria was pretty yummy, but not enough filling and quite dry.
dry flavorless QuipeEmpanadas were 80% dough, barely a filling
I'm sad, pls tell me it was just an off night for the cooks and this isn't the how these dishes usually come out.

Pica Pollo / Fried Chicken was delicious. The CHICACHARON had really good flavor but was not as crispy as the picture on the menu showed. The skin was the chewy.
I didnt get a picture of the Macaroni salad tuna /ensalada de macarrone y tuna , but it was amazing! It was my favorite out of the 3.

Empanadas barely had meat in them and were mostly dough. They were not seasoned and I had to put adobo to taste something. It was dry and had no juiciness to them. The Bola de Papa / Potato Ball felt like mashed potatoes and barely meat in there. I couldn't eat it and gave it to my dog who ate some of it. Not willing to try anything else from this place and it was my first order. Very disappointing
