this was my 1st Chile relleno from Los Laureles and I've got to say ,and let them know , it is THE BEST I've ever eaten . I have had them in 4 different states , including LA and Arizona, this one is SUPERB. The sauce, the egg breading ,and TONS of cheese , WOW . next time my taste buds need one I'll be ordering from here !!

The Flautas Lunch special was really good and was a decent size serving, $10 is a great price. The red sauce is pretty spicy and delicious

The Nachos were great but the Caldo de Res was disappointing. I have had this several times, both in the restaurant and ordered home, when it has been delish but today it lacked flavor and ingredients. It was a small container with one sliceof carrot and half of a potato and a big peiceof fatty tough meat. This is my go to comfort food but don't know I will be ordering it again.

Guacamole and Tacos were fantastic. Cazuelon could have been really good but the chicken was so dry it was almost like jerky, and the jalapeños or peppers on top were either pickled or had been soaked in some sort of brine, either way they were too salty and ruined the whole taste of the dish. Salsa flavors were on point as well.

I wasn't impressed this time around.Los Laureles historically has been one of the best around for authentic Mexican food. I had the carnitas and it was ok but nothing special: a nice portion of pork with a basic side of rice and beans with a bit of Pico de gallo that tasted pretty blah. None of my co workers were very impressed with their dishes. I am OK paying for quality and I feel like the order was ok if I was eating fast food, but not very good for a family Mexican restaurant.
