Not sure what's going on with Luby's. The last two times I've ordered a Roast Chicken Combo, I got two dark pieces of meat, instead of a dark and a white. This essentially limits the amount of chicken I'm actually getting. And feels chintzy. Like a con. For the amount of money that I'm paying ($16.98), I would expect a little more effort put forth toward customer service. But whatever. I'll just lay off Luby's for a while, and order from Cracker Barrel, until I hear Luby's have gotten their act together.

The sweet potatoes were not good - they did not look fresh and did not have marshmallows or pecans. The mac & cheese was not fresh either, especially compared to when I ordered yesterday, where everything was fresh. The bread was hard and overcooked, so I could not eat it at all. The tilapia tasted fine, but none of the food was even warm. I would like the cooking to be consistent.

The liver was so good and lots of it. The cabbage was good also. Very good. The fried okra good too.
The meatloaf I didn't like. Too sweet. It was weird. The sweet potato was great.
The jalapeño cordbread was great too.

I ordered the roasted chicken even after reading the reviews. I usually always get this as this is not how it previously tasted. Luby's have you started using Mrs. Dash salt-free herbs as everything on the plate need salt including the chicken and cabbage. Please go back to your old recipe. The chicken wasn't dry however, I was missing the gravy on the dressing which needed it to add a little more flavoring.
My door dash driver, Heli was very swift as I watched from the map how fast he was approaching my location.

Food was hot and arrived quickly, but everything lacked flavor. Did they run out of salt and pepper that day?? The only two items that had flavor was the corn and garlic bread. The coating on the chicken tenders was very bland and chicken was dry. The Fried Fish coating was also very bland. Mashed potatoes seemed to have been made with no salt and butter. Green beans tasted unsalted with no bacon cooked with it. I've had Lubys many times and have always enjoyed it. But this particular day I ordered was very off!
