Meconis is the go-to place for subs in Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater for decades. There's a reason why. The food is spectacular, affordable and consistent.
They don't skimp on the portions, it's the same today as when I went to the first Meconis in Lacey in the 80s.

Add grilled onions and green peppers, they really tie the sub together.

Im honestly really bummed, this sandwich looked so good and had great reviews. It was the most bland thing I've ever eaten. I had to put salt on it. I asked for the cheese to be replaced from mozzarella to provolone and it was just rubbery. I really wish I would have ordered the regular Philly Cheesesteak (Whole) I guess I learned my lesson! The Garden Salad and Homemade Cookie is delicious but will not be giving the sandwich another round.

Service is terrible! We order our whole sandwiches with hogie peppers. An addtional charge if $3. Total. Once we got home, no peppers in the bag. So I returned to pick them up. No apology, no concern over the mistake. And then they only gave us enough for one sandwich.
The sandwiches are good, but maybe hire a crew that cares. This is not the first time the order has been wrong!

Usually an awesome sandwich, but this time they skimped on the insides. The ends of the sandwich had a good 1-2 inches of just bread.
