I love the Coconut Chicken Soup! The flavor and smoothness and creaminess is so cozy and delicious! I personally prefer it without any of the mix-ins that come with it. The portion is pretty good, too! Easily enough to feed two! I also can't resist getting the Coconut Rice. I know it's simple, but the subtlety and flavor of the coconut in it is so delicious. I love coconut, so it was delightful. The crab and cheese dumplings are great, too. different.

Food is DIVINE, portions are good value and my colleagues and I love it for lunch. I've eaten in the restaurant once and though it was jammed my dining companion and I were seated immediately, and served flawlessly. Kudos Mingalaba!

Ive eaten from here before, but this time around I was extremely disappointed. With how much everything costs either the portions need to be substantial, or the flavors need to be out of this world. Neither was the case here. For nearly $50 I felt like I received a sample of the the tea leaf salad and soup that may have been re-heated from last week. Suffice to say, neither dish thrilled me at all.

Love the Avocado Tempura Shrimp Spring Rolls, the Coconut Chicken Soup, House Special Noodle, and the Samosa Salad which is no longer on the menu. Even though they don't follow customized sauce instructions - like if you're allergic to Chili and want to exclude. Portions are generous, enough to share for 2, always fresh and crunchy. Been ordering for years and they are consistently good.

So many great options for vegetarians and omnivores- there are many dishes with plenty of vegetables on the menu. I've never been disappointed by the food here; it says a lot about the restaurant that they keep producing consistently great food after so many years in Burlingame. Most of the dishes are self explanatory, but the paratha is different from the parathas you typically find at Indian restaurants. While the name may be the same at both Burmese and Indian restaurants, Mingalaba's version is a flaky, fried dough that's similar to a croissant. It's best enjoyed hot, so if yours has cooled off in transit, you can reheat it in an oven at 325 degrees for a few minutes.
