They always get my order correct down to the last detail, sandwichs are huge and delicious and soup is on pointttt 10/10 everytime

I thought when I became Vegan I would have to give up deli sandwiches. But the Vegan Reuben was so very good. It was a huge sandwich. I had to stop eating it so I could have room for my Vegan Chocolate Chip. They were so tasty

I live in the area and have always loved this place! Although pricy, it is 100% worth it for the taste, quality, and size of the sandwiches! (Non-related, the actual staff at the place are always so cool and kind)
However, I'd never tried the vegan sandwiches before, and decided to order them ( Vegan Pastrami Sandwich and Vegan Reuben ) for me and my partner (who tries to eat vegan pretty often.)
I've always been skeptical of vegan meat, but we were blown away! Both were so delicious, and to me, a meat-lover, tasted dang close to real meat! Both of us preferred the pastrami, but they were fantastic!
Also, the two Salted Caramel Macarons were an impulse purchase, but by far the best caramel macarons I've ever had!

The turkey avocado is my favorite, with the addition of mushrooms and onions, olives and cucumbers. The sandwich is quite large, so I save half for another meal.
Pasta salad is vegan and very good; I usually order 1/2 a pound and save at least half for later. It keeps well in the frig, but be sure to shake it up before digging in - the red peppers, olives and broccoli tend to sink down to the bottom. My vegan friend loved the egg salad sandwich, and also saved half for later.

This food is phenomenal. Every time I've come to Oak House has been an absolute treat. I'm obsessed with the Conflicted Reuben with jalapeños. The sandwiches are generously portioned and do not leave you unsatisfied. The only negative thing I could even say about Oak House is that it's located in downtown Royal Oak, which isn't my favorite. Even that is mitigated by decent on-site parking in front of the store. Suffice to day, I will absolutely be back soon
