Very good! New non-spillage packaging containers. Chicken was very crispy and well seasoned. Macaroni is always great. First time ordering the cornbread and it was very soft and fresh. No complaints .. great food.

The Chicken Sandwich which I usually get to have a piece of chicken with my Tilapia Platter is seasoned perfectly. The sides always hit as well. I'm a Mac and cheese snob and their BAKED Mac and cheese always hits for me. Just tried their potato salad yesterday and it's good as well. Sometimes people make it too tangy/vinegary and sometimes they make it too sweet. Ol boy has the perfect combination down. Not too sweet not too tangy, just right. String beans are good as well. This place just reminds me of Grandma's soul food. Their cornbread is delicious as well and I'm not a fan of cornbread. I have to try their other meats but with what I had the price was good and matched the portion. I also like the fact that for the more expensive meats and platters there's an option just to get the meat as a "sandwich." On a Friday after a long week that really helps because you can indulge and not break the bank. Add a tipping section so myself and others can tip you!!!

Everything came cold and also old. They added shredded cheese that was not melted. Yams was like watery mash potatoes. Portions too small and no quality for the price. Sad and disappointed. Will not support this business with sloppy service.

My fried chicken platter was okay. My chicken was a little dry. My Mac &cheeese was good. My string beans were good also.
My 10 wings were nice and freshly cooked.
